Constance Lois Long, 30, of Tomball, was struck and killed Monday night, June 16 as she crossed SH 249 at Weakley Way near Pinehurst.
According to published reports, Long left the Rock Bottom Sports Bar located at 111 Weakley Way and attempted to cross an unlit area of SH 249, where she was struck and killed by a Ford F250 truck.
Michael Lee Yasskin, 29, the driver of the truck, as well as his passenger, his four year
old son, were not injured.
Although neither alcohol nor any kind of drugs were believed to be factors in the accident, the Montgomery County Pct. 5 Justice of the Peace, Matt Masden, has ordered that the victim’s body be taken to the Montgomery County Forensic Center for an autopsy.
Long leaves behind two children.
