Crime report for the week of June 22

Tomball PD
• June 22 Officer Finney arrested a 30 year old woman from Gal-veston for Possession of a Controlled Substance and Theft. Officer Finney was dispatched to the 14400 block of FM 2920 where a suspect left the business without paying for
merchandise. During a search incident to arrest, Officer Finney discovered Xanax, cocaine and hy-drocodone in the suspect’s purse.
• June 23 Officer Finney arrested a 31 year old man from Tomball for Possession of Marijuana. Officer Finney conducted a traffic stop in the 29700 block of Tomball Pkwy. and when he searched the vehicle he discovered marijuana.
• June 24 Officer Diaz arrested an 18 year old man and a 19 year old woman, both from Mag-nolia, for Theft. At ap-proximately 11:16 a.m., Officer Diaz responded to a theft in the 27600 block of Tomball Pkwy. and the suspects were arrested without incident.
• June 24 Officer Mag-litto arrested a 50 year old man from Cypress for a Fictitious Motor Vehicle Registration in the 16000 block of FM 2920.
• June 24 Officer Swinghammer responded to a Failure to Stop and Give Information accident in the 1400 block of Spring Forest Way, where a suspect fled the scene. Over $200 in damage was done.
• June 24 Officer Sparks arrested an 18 year old woman from Plant-ersville for Theft. Officer Sparks responded to a theft in the 27600 block of Tomball Pkwy. and the suspect was arrested without incident.
• June 25 Sgt. Welch arrested an 18 year old man from Magnolia for Possession of Marijuana. At approximately 1:34 a.m., Sgt. Welch made contact with a suspicious vehicle in the 14300 block of FM 2920 and detected a strong odor of marijuana. Corporal Hill was also on scene and noticed a baggie in the vehicle. The suspect was arrested without incident.
• June 25 Officer Finney arrested a 43 year old man from Magnolia for Possession of Mari-juana and Driving with License Invalid. Officer Finney conducted a traffic stop in the 30500 block of Tomball Pkwy. The suspect had a pipe and marijuana in the vehicle.
• June 25 Officer Rodriguez arrested a 29 year old man from Spring for Driving While Intox-icated.
• June 25 Officer Tikal responded to a Burglary of a Building in the 600 block of S. Cherry, where a copper cable valued at approximately $1,300 was stolen.
• June 25 Officer Hernandez responded to a Theft in the 14000 block of Park Dr. Plywood pallets valued at approximately $1400 were stolen.
• June 26 Officer Sparks arrested a 25 year old woman from Tomball for Driving While Intox-icated and Failure to Stop and Give Infor-mation.
• June 26 Officers Henagan and Tikal arrested an 18 year old man from Tomball for Assault Family Violence. The of-ficers responded to a disturbance in the 500 block of Foster. Upon investigation, the officers discovered that the suspect had assaulted his mother.
• June 26 Officer Ferguson responded to a Criminal Mischief report in the 400 block of S. Chestnut where an outdoor drinking fountain valued at approximately $850 was damaged.
• June 26 Officer Ramsey responded to a Burglary of a Motor Vehicle in the 1000 block of Hicks St., where a Kawasaki motorcycle valued at approximately $4,000 was stolen.
• June 27 Officer Tikal arrested a 33 year old man from Magnolia for Pos-session of a Controlled Substance. Officer Tikal conducted a traffic stop for a defective license plate light in the 29900 block of Tomball Pkwy. A search of the vehicle yielded cocaine. The suspect was arrested without incident.

• June 27 Officer Hernandez responded to a Theft in the 27600 block of Tomball Pkwy. A Vizio flat screen TV valued at approximately $700 was stolen.
• June 27 Officer Sampson arrested a 30 year old man from Houston for Possession of a Controlled Substance and Unlawful Carry of a Weapon. Officer Sampson was dispatched to a suspicious vehicle in the 29900 block of Tomball Pkwy., where a suspect had a methamphetamine pipe and a .357 handgun along with several baggies of marijuana and a Xanax pill. The suspect was arrested without incident.
• June 27, Officer Sparks responded to a Failure to Stop and Give Information accident in the 27600 block of Tomball Pkwy., where a suspect left the scene.
• June 28 Officer Ferguson responded to a Failure to Stop and Give Information accident in the 14300 block of FM 2920 where a suspect left the scene.
• June 28 Officer Rodriguez arrested a 21 year old man from Willis for Driving While Intoxicated.
• June 28 Officer Sampson and Officer Tikal arrested a 17 year old man from Tomball for Possession of Marijuana. The officers were dispatched to a loud music disturbance in the 31200 block of Alice Ln. The suspect had a mason jar of marijuana along with two glass pipes with marijuana residue.
• June 28 Officer Tikal arrested a 27 year old woman from Cypress for Driving While Intoxicated.

Mont. Co. Sheriff
• June 27 Sergeant Durbin was patrolling in the Grand Oaks subdivision when he observed a white pickup truck parked at the dead end of Pleasant Oaks with the lights off. A 21 year old male and a 16 year old female were inside the truck putting their clothes back on. After an investigation, the male was taken into custody for felony sexual assault of a child. The female was released to her mother who had arrived on scene.
• June 28 Deputy Provenzano was dispatched to the Mostyn Manor subdivision, in reference to a disturbance in progress. Upon arrival, the Deputy met with the complainants, a 63 year old female and a 64 year old male who advised their 35 year old son had assaulted them for no reason. Both parties had cuts and bruises from the assault. The 35 year old male was taken into custody for two counts of assault family violence.
• June 29 Deputies Crandell and Davis observed a gray Chevy truck driving recklessly. The vehicle was crossing a double yellow line, coming into ongoing traffic, and causing the vehicle in front of their patrol car to take evasive action. The Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 24000 block of Shady Oaks and made contact with the 33 year old male driver and a 20 year old female passenger. The female was intoxicated and taken into custody for public intoxication and four active warrants.    A small packet of methamphetamine was discovered in the male’s wallet and he was taken into custody for felony possession of a controlled substance.
• June 29 Deputy Messina was dispatched to a disturbance call in the 30000 block of Saw Oaks. Upon arrival, the Deputy made contact with the 20 year old complainant and his 40 year old step-father. Dispatch advised the stepfather had an active warrant for theft. The warrant was confirmed and the male taken into custody.
• June 30 Deputy Provenzano pulled over a 31 year old male for a traffic violation at the intersection of State Highway 249 and Sentinel Oaks. Dispatch advised the male had an active felony warrant for the crime of theft. The male was taken into custody.
