Crime report for the week of July 13

Tomball PD
• July 13 Officer Maglitto responded to a Theft in the 28500 Block of Tomball Pkwy., where approximately $65.88 worth of beer was stolen.
• July 13 Officer Ferguson responded to a Criminal Mischief report in the 700 Block of S. Cherry, where approximately $300 worth of damage was inflicted upon a building.
• July 14 Officer Diaz responded to a Hit-and-Run report in the 22900 Block of Hufsmith-Kohrville, where a vehicle struck the victim’s vehicle and fled the scene without exchanging information. An estimated $600 worth of damage was inflicted upon the victim’s vehicle.
• July 15 Sergeant Welch arrested a 21 year old man from Katy for Possession of Marijuana. At approximately 12:37 a.m. Sergeant Welch conducted a traffic stop in the 100 block of Willow and detected a strong odor of burnt marijuana emitting from the vehicle upon initial contact. During a search, Sergeant Welch discovered marijuana in the suspect’s clothing.
• July 15 Officer Diaz responded to a Criminal Mischief report in the 14200 Block of FM 2920, where approximately $500 worth of damage was inflicted upon a vehicle.
• July 15 Corporal Manickas arrested a 39 year old woman from Magnolia for Possession of a Controlled Sub-stance. At approximately 7:31 a.m., Corporal Manickas conducted a traffic stop in the 100 block of Elm. During a search, Corporal Manickas discovered meth-amphetamine in a purse in the vehicle.
• July 15 Officer Sparks responded to a Burglary of a Motor Vehicle in the 800 Block of E. Carrell, where various personal items were stolen from a vehicle.
• July 15 Officer Young responded to Forgery/Counterfeit Currency report in the 14300 Block of FM 2920, where a counterfeit $20 bill was passed for payment.
• July 16 Officer Swinghammer responded to a Burglary of a Motor Vehicle in the 1400 Block of Keefer, where a hand saw valued at approximately $40, a hammer drill valued at approximately $2,000 and a band saw valued at approximately $310 was stolen.
• July 16 Officer Littell arrested a 34 year old man from Houston for Theft. At approximately 5:00 p.m., Officer Littell responded to a theft in the 30700 Block of Tomball Pkwy., where the suspect had fled in a vehicle. Officers conducted a traffic stop on the suspect in the 800 block of W. Main and discovered the stolen items in the suspect’s vehicle.
• July 16 Officer Ferguson responded to a Burglary of a Motor Vehicle in the 31100 Block of Alice, where a notebook computer valued at approximately $1,000 and a briefcase valued at approximately $50 was stolen.
• July 17 Officer Ferguson responded to a Theft in the 14000 Block of FM 2920, where a computer valued at approximately $779.48 was stolen.
• July 18 Officer Ramsey arrested a 44 year old man from Magnolia for Possession of Marijuana. At approximately 9:00 p.m., Officer Ramsey conducted a traffic stop in the 15200 block of FM 2920. A strong odor of marijuana was emitting from the vehicle, and during a search, Officer Ramsey discovered marijuana in the vehicle.
• July 18 Officer Sampson arrested a 24 year old man from Tomball for Driving While Intoxicated.
• July 19 Officer Thomas arrested a 20 year old man from Tomball for Possession of Marijuana. At approximately 12:20 a.m., Officer Thomas conducted a traffic stop in the 700 block of E. Main and observed marijuana in plain view in the vehicle.
• July 19 Officer Hernandez arrested a 19 year old man from Cypress for Possession of Marijuana. At approximately 3:49 p.m., Officer Hernandez conducted a traffic stop in the 31700 block of Tomball Pkwy. During a search, Officer Hernandez discovered marijuana in the vehicle.

Mont. Co. Sheriff
• July 14 Deputy St John was dispatched to the 30000 block of FM 2978 to a Theft. Deputies learned that the suspect had stolen tools on a job site and witnesses saw him throw tools over a fence. The 36 year old male suspect was arrested and taken to jail.
• July 14 Deputy Erickson stopped a vehicle on FM 1486 for a traffic violation.The 40 year old male driver was arrested for DWI.
• July 15 Deputies responded to a Threat in the Hazy Hollow subdivision. While on scene and talking to a witness, it was discovered the witness had a Warrant for his arrest. Deputy Erickson placed the 64 year old male into custody and transported him to the Montgomery County Jail.
• July 19 Senior Sergeant Gonzales stopped a vehicle on Champion Oaks Drive for a traffic violation.The 20 year old male driver had two active warrants and was taken into custody.
• July 19 Deputy Aaron was dispatched to a Welfare Check on Nichols Sawmill Road and made contact with a 35 year old male. The suspect was arrested for an active warrant.
• July 20 Deputy Aaron was dispatched to Springwood subdivision in reference to a Criminal Mischief. Upon arrival the Deputy met with a female who advised she had been driving on Standard Road and she had to stop to avoid hitting two males in the street. A 33 year old male came up to car and hit it on the front fender causing damage. The male was taken into custody for Criminal Mischief.
