Magnolia High fares well at own academic tournament Submitted Photo

The Magnolia High School UIL Academic Team competed at it's sixth annual invitational meet Feb. 2. The accounting team took first place overall at the event, while earning several individual honors.  Bethany Mandrell grabbed first place, followed directly behind by Blake Hale in second and Mishayla Smith in third place. Laila Espinoza placed fifth in computer applications. The students will be competing at A & M Consolidated later this month.
