A national scandal involving the CEO of Chic-fil-A flowed into Tomball last week, as supporters of CEO Dan Cathy’s statements opposing gay marriage filed into the restaurant on a national “Support Chic-fil-A Day,” organized by several conservative commentators. Local Chic-fil-A owner Joseph Piotrowski said that it was potentially the biggest sales day locally, as cars lines the parking lot and down FM 2920. Lines of people stretched outside the building, while the Tomball Fire Marshal’s office made sure that overcrowding did not occur.
