Law enforcement report for the week of Feb. 3

Tomball PD
• Feb. 3 Officer Burns arrested an 18-year-old man from Tomball for Sexual Assault of a Child. At 5:20 p.m., Burns responded to a sexual assault call in the 1100 block of S. Cherry and the suspect was arrested without incident.
• Feb. 3 Officer Manickas responded to an Automobile Theft in the 13600 block of Country Pine Ct., where a dirt bike valued at $1,000 was stolen.
• Feb. 4 Officer Manickas responded to a theft in the 29800 block of Tomball Pkwy., where rent checks and a money order valued at $505 were stolen.
• Feb. 4 Officer White responded to a theft in the 29900 block of Tomball Parkway, where a tablet computer valued at $350 was stolen.
• Feb. 4 Officer Burns responded to a theft in the 27600 block of Tomball Parkway, where a tailgate valued at $600 was stolen from a truck.
• Feb. 5 Officer Sparks arrested a 27-year-old woman from Tomball for Possession of Marijuana. At 9:35 p.m., Sparks responded to a suspicious person call in the 300 block of Willowick and detected a strong odor of burnt marijuana emitting from the building. Sparks then arrested two suspects inside the home for outstanding warrants. During a search incident to arrest, Sparks discovered marijuana in the suspect's clothing.
• Feb. 5 Officer White arrested a 34-year-old man from Tomball for Failure to Comply - Registration (Sex Offender). At 8:40 a.m., White arrested the suspect for an outstanding warrant for Failure to Register in the 900 block of Sutton.
• Feb. 5 Officer White arrested a 30-year-old man from Tomball for Assault Family Violence. At 12:30 p.m., White responded to a disturbance in progress in the 100 block of North Magnolia. Upon investigation, White discovered that the suspect had assaulted his girlfriend.
• Feb. 5 Officer Ramsey responded to a Burglary of a Habitation in the 1000 block of Village Square, where a television valued at $1,500, a laptop computer valued at $800, a laptop computer valued at $300 and assorted jewelry valued at $100 were stolen.
• Feb. 6 Officer Finney arrested a 45-year-old woman from Tomball for Possession of a Controlled Substance. At 4:15 a.m., Finney made contact with a suspicious person in the 27700 block of Tomball Parkway and discovered crystal methamphetamine in the suspect's bag during a search.
• Feb. 6 Officer Torres arrested an 18-year-old man from Tomball for Possession of a Controlled Substance in a Drug Free Zone. At 1:20 p.m., Torres received information that the suspect had an unknown narcotic in his possession in the 30300 block of Quinn. During a search, Torres discovered Xanax in the suspect's wallet.
• Feb. 7 Officer Barrera arrested a 21-year-old man and a 20-year-old man, both from Houston, for Possession of Marijuana and Possession of a Dangerous Drug. At 11:50 p.m., Barrera conducted a traffic stop in the 14600 block of Zion and detected a strong odor of burnt marijuana emitting from the vehicle. During a search, Barrera discovered marijuana and Vyvanse in the vehicle.
• Feb. 7 Officer Sparks arrested a 29-year-old man from Tomball for Assault Family Violence. At 5:55 p.m., Sparks responded to a disturbance in progress in the 200 block of McPhail. Upon investigation, Sparks discovered that the suspect had assaulted his girlfriend.
• Feb. 7 Officer Barrera arrested a 23-year-old man from Houston for Evading. At 3:20 a.m., Barrera responded to an attempted burglary in progress in the 900 block of Lawrence and when officers arrived, the suspect fled on foot in an attempt to evade arrest.
• Feb. 8 Officer Ferguson arrested a 20-year-old man from Magnolia for Unlawful Possession of a Firearm.  At 5:30 p.m., Ferguson responded to a suspicious person call in the 27700 block of Tomball Parkway and discovered a hand gun in the suspect's pocket during a pat search. Upon investigation, Ferguson discovered that the suspect was a convicted felon.
• Feb. 8 Officer Sparks responded to a theft in the 14200 block of FM 2920, where a suspect stole a backpack valued at $54.99.
• Feb. 9 Officer Ramsey responded to a Burglary of a Motor Vehicle in the 27600 block of Tomball Parkway, where a radar detector valued at $40, a cell phone valued at $60 and $62 worth of assorted plugs and cords were stolen.

Montgomery Co. Sheriff
• Feb. 5 Deputy Brummett was dispatched to Indigo Lakes Subdivision in reference to an assault.  Upon arrival, the deputy met with the complainant, who advised his brother had assaulted him. The 28-year-old brother was arrested and taken to jail.
• Feb. 7 Deputy Sharman was dispatched to the Ranch Crest subdivision in reference to an assault.  Sharman spoke with the victim, who said that his wife had assaulted him. Sharman placed a 29-year-old female into custody for Assault.
• Feb. 7 Deputy Sharman conducted a traffic stop and the deputy spoke to the 54-year-old female driver. A check through dispatch showed an active warrant for Driving without a License. The deputy placed the driver into custody for the warrant.
• Feb. 7 Corporal Norum was dispatched to 10000 block of Woodlands Parkway, in reference to a shoplifter. He then met with loss prevention and learned that a 27-year-old male concealed store items into a bag. The male, who was from Magnolia, left the store without making any attempt to pay for the items. The suspect was arrested for Theft and taken to jail. The suspect also had a felony warrant out for his arrest.
• Feb. 8 Deputy Mittag was on the scene of a suspicious vehicle, where the occupant had a suspended driver's license. A 44-year-old male arrived to take the person home and the deputy found that he was wanted. The second person was arrested and taken to jail.
• Feb. 9 Deputy Mittag observed a 39-year-old male riding on a small homemade motorcycle in the Hazy Hollow subdivision. The deputy found meth and marijuana in the driver's possession. The suspect was arrested and taken to jail.
• Feb. 10 Deputy Provenzano was dispatched to a residence on Nichols Sawmill in reference to a Disturbance. A 33-year-old male and his girlfriend were having an argument. The deputy found that the male had an active warrant, arrested the suspect and took him to jail.
• Feb. 10 Deputy Irvine was in the Creekside Acres subdivision. Irvine saw a 27-year-old male standing in the ditch next to a wrecked vehicle. A check through dispatch showed the male to have an active warrant. The deputy placed the subject into custody.
