Mueller family to hold BBQ cook-off for wounded soldiers

The Mueller family will hold their 25th annual Barbeque Cook-Off, benefiting Patriots and Heroes Outdoors, Saturday, April 20, at 25035 Stanolind, just two block's north of Mel's Café. Patriots & Heroes Out-doors was started to provide quality outdoor activities for men and women that have been wounded in service to the nation. Patriots & Heroes specifically focuses on the injured veteran's capabilities and not their disabilities. Tribune, Spring Fitness, Urban Cowgirl partner to help others

The Tribune will be partnering with Spring Fitness and Urban Cowgirl Dance Hall & Saloon, to hold a spring food drive benefitting the Magnolia Society of Samaritans (SOS) and Tomball Emergency Assist-ance Ministries (TEAM). The food drive will run the entire month of April and items can be dropped off at the Tribune office, 517 W. GTACC to hold annual golf classic

The Greater Tomball Area Chamber of Commerce will hold its 35th annual Golf Classic, March 21, at High Meadow Ranch Golf Club, 37300 Golf Club Trail, in Magnolia. Harris County Sheriff's Office investigators are seeking the public's help in identifying and locating a person of interest. The man is wanted for questioning in the Nov. 12, 2012 shooting death of Coty Beavers, 28, at his northwest Harris County apartment. Working from information provided by an eyewitness, an artist has sketched a likeness of the subject – a man with dark hair and thick dark eyebrows, wearing eyeglasses.
