Gifford is one of AAR's longtime residents, having arrived in December of 2011. He is very lonely since his best friend and playmate, Toto (another longtime resident), was adopted last month. Gifford is a terrier/ Chihuahua mix and has been fostered during the holidays. He gets along with the four dogs and a cat in the foster home. He is completely house-trained, and loves to play with squeaky toys. Whatever his experience was before arriving at AAR has left him wary of men in general, but he has shown no aggression towards the gentleman of the house. He loves to burrow under the covers at night and sleeps next to his foster mom. His curly tail matches his perky personality. If you would love to give Gifford a loving home please email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or stop by the shelter.
Gidget's owners moved and left her on her own. This special brown tabby is a sweet girl who is ten-years-old, has cataracts and a slight heart murmur, but it doesn't require any medical attention at this time. She is friendly, spayed, up to date on vaccinations and litter box trained. If you are an understanding family or person who would allow Gidget to spend her "golden years" in your heart and on your lap, you might just be the person she has been waiting for. If you would like to give Gidget a loving home, please email aar.dogs. This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or stop by the shelter.
