Magnolia West teacher arrested for ‘improper relationship’ with student

bernard A Magnolia West High School Special Needs instructor was arrested last week after she was suspected of having an inappropriate relationship with a student.

On Oct. 6, 22-year-old Krystal Bernard was arrested by Montgomery County Pct. 5 Constables shortly after the Magnolia Independent School District concluded their investigation into allegations that Bernard was involved in an explicit relationship.

According to Lt. Glen Arnold, Bernard was charged with improper relationship with a student, a second degree felony. Although Arnold could not provide information regarding the alleged student, media reports state that Bernard was involved with a 17-year-old male student.

Bernard has been placed on administrative leave by Magnolia ISD.
