Waller FFA holds show and sale, brings in $102,000

whs ffa 2 Waller High School held its annual FFA Show and Sale on March 25 and 26 where students showed and sold project animals they raised, and 57 students placed and earned $102,000 during the auction. Projects included chickens, goats, lambs, hogs, heifers and steers.

Five percent of the earnings are given to the Waller FFA department, while the rest of the earnings are given to the students based on how much each animal was auctioned for.

 

Waller ISD announced that this year’s earnings came close to being the highest amount they have ever earned based on the number of projects sold.
