| Man accused of stalking Tomball woman |
|
James Alan Black, 50, was charged after the woman reported several incidents, including him spitting on her car and telling her to shoot herself, according to court documents.
According to court documents the couple had been dating for nearly two years, when the woman told him to leave and to cease contact with her.
When he left he threw several items, including cement into her pool and stole several items from the home, the woman told Tomball police.
Investigators say the stalking came into play afterwards, as they allege that Black repeatedly called the woman, e-mailed her and sent numerous text messages. He sent 108 texts, four e-mails and left five voice messages after the woman told him to stop.
The messages contained numerous suggestions that the woman should kill herself and one which police contend was a veiled threat that she should “keep looking over her shoulder.”
Court documents also claim that Black repeatedly drove by the woman’s house and at least once she caught him in her driveway. After Black left, she noticed her car had been damaged and was covered in saliva.
The woman received an order of protection against Black on New Year’s Eve.
Black was released on $10,000 bond Jan. 2.
