Deputies searching for sexual assault suspect near Magnolia

sexual assault case sketch Investigators in Montgomery County are searching for a sexual assault suspect, officials from the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) said.

 

According to a statement released by MCSO, a juvenile victim was playing in the backyard of a home in the High Meadow Ranch subdivision, south of Magnolia, when a white male approached with a gun.

 

“The victim told investigators that the suspect grabbed the victim by the arm and kept the victim from running away,” the statement said. “The suspect sexually assaulted the victim before running away through an adjoining wooded area.”

 

The victim said the suspect had blue eyes, black eyebrows and that his face was sunburned. They also stated that the suspect was wearing black pants, black shoes and a black hoodie made of rain jacket material.

 

MCSO is urging anyone with information on the suspect’s identity or information about the attack to call Montgomery County Crime Stoppers at 800-392-7867 or online anonymously at montgomerycountycrimestoppers.org.

 

Crime Stoppers will pay up to $1,000 for information leading to an arrest in this case.
