| Tomball Chamber to host forum for council candidates |
|
A “Meet the Candidates Forum” providing candidates seeking election to the City of Tomball Council Positions 2 and 4 with an opportunity in which to lobby for voter confidence is set for April 14.
Candidates Mary Harvey, Derek Townsend, Roy Lazenby, Mark Stoll and Barbara Tague will have the opportunity to present their views and opinions as they answer questions posed by City of Tomball residents.
Presented by the Government and Legislative Affairs Committee of the Greater Tomball Area Chamber of Commerce, the forum will be held in the Teaching Theater (near The Commons) at Lone Star College-Tomball, located at 30555 Tomball Parkway from 6 to 8 p.m.
The purpose of the forum is to enlighten voters of the issues, ideas, and opinions of each individual campaign with fairness, and to encourage eligible City of Tomball residents to become active voters. The public is invited to attend.
Election Day is May 9 and all registered City of Tomball voters are encouraged to cast ballots on that day from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at City Hall, 401 Market St. Early voting will be held April 27, 29, 30 and May 4 from 7:45 a.m. to 5 p.m.; April 28 and May 5 from 7:45 a.m. to 7:45 p.m.; and May 1 from 7:45 a.m. to 4 p.m.
