Dale Howell, 36 of Spring, Christopher Elledge, 20 of Spring and Troy Dean Elledge, 42 of Spring are all wanted for first degree felony assault after their attack on Victor McDonald in the 8500 block of Ponderosa Pine Place.

According to the Pct. 4 Harris County Constable’s Office, deputies responded to a call at 7:15 p.m. on July 22 in the Pinewood Place Trailer Community for a reported assault.

McDonald told deputies that he was operating his ice cream truck in the neighborhood when the three suspects approached his truck yelling obscenities and racial slurs at him. One of the suspects struck the truck and another stood in front of the vehicle, preventing McDonald from leaving the scene.

The three suspects then began to strike McDonald through an open window of the truck, causing minor facial injuries. The Constables Office reported that McDonald was able to provide a description of the suspects, who were located by deputies.

However, the suspects fled into a nearby mobile home before officers to apprehend them and “refused to open the door.”

According to the Constables Office, "due to no fresh pursuit of known suspects, no forced entry was allowed into the mobile home."

McDonald was treated for his injuries at a minor care facility, but was later transported to Hermann Hospital for treatment.

He was later able to identify the suspects through a photo array. Warrants for First Degree Aggravated Assault have been issued. The suspects are believed to have fled the Harris County area.
