LuAnn,

To the best of your knowledge, does the City have any agreement or contract with either the Magnolia Volunteer Fire Dept. or the County Fire Marshall’s Office? If we do please provide me with copies.

Thank you,

TO:  Mayor Thornton

DATE: June 17, 2009

SUBJECT: Check signers

Mayor,

I have checks to be signed. I have one signature, but you are the only other signer available in the area. Can you come by?

It seems that the availability of signers or signatures is becoming difficult to attain. If you are in agreement, please, with approval of the Council, suggest that Mr. Kelley is allowed to sign.

Mr. Kelley is willing and agrees.

TO:  Charles Burditt

DATE: June 23, 2009

SUBJECT: Invoices

Charles, good afternoon. I would like to request that your company invoice the 4A on a current monthly basis. The invoices that we received on June 8, 2009 had items from March, 2009 thru May, 2009. I make this request for simplicity of review, prompt payment, and filing. The 4A and 4B meet the second Thursday of each month, if you would have June invoicing here during the first week of July, I can include it on the July agenda, July by first week of August, etc…resulting in prompt payment. I appreciate your assistance in this matter.

Thank you,

Debra Brent

Deputy City Secretary
