Regions Bank in Pinehurst robbed

bank robberyA Regions Bank in Pinehurst was the scene of a robbery Monday afternoon, Sept. 28, authorities said.

The suspect wore a black hat with “POLICE” written on the front in white letters when he entered the bank, located at 32323 SH 249, and handed a note to a teller demanding money, saying he had a gun, police said.

The teller complied with the suspect and authorities believe he fled on foot. No vehicle was seen and no injuries were reported.

The suspect is described as a white male, 25-35 years old, around 6 feet tall.

Video surveillance footage is being reviewed by Regions Bank technical staff in cooperation with investigators.

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes Unit is investigating the crime and is urging anyone with information about the suspect to contact the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes Unit at 936-760-5876.

It most likely was a police officer....a cop was robbing banks in Conroe...remember....that was swept under some new rug, but we still remember, right ?
