SUBJECT: Magnolia Ridge

Hello,

Here is a print out of all three Magnolia Ridge accounts. They are now in the 60 day cut off range so if they do not make a payment by 10/19/9 they will be cut off in the regular monthly cut with everyone else in the district.

Let me know if you have questions.

Mr. Kelley, Mrs. Williams called and left me a message that I did not listen to until late afternoon, telling me she needed a check for 3,000. for Christmas to Sign Ad Outdoor. This comes from HMOT (Hotel Motel Occupancy Tax) ? And I have the final pmt for the skate rink that is due 11-2. Will that come from HMOT as well?

On a lighter note, I added your name to the card I got for Debra for her birthday. Hope that’s okay?

Hello Magnolia Citizens!

The Save Magnolia website was created as a tool to communicate with the public. The internet is an effective method to reach large numbers of people. There may be many residents that do not have time to attend public meetings or may not feel comfortable attending meetings; our goal is to keep those residents informed of the actions of their elected officials. The internet also provides residents with the convenience of learning more about their city from their own homes as well as meeting their time schedules. We realize that many residents may not be fully aware of how their government should work. We are a group of citizens that fear retaliation from our local government while having a strong desire for open and honest government for all residents.

The website is in the beginning stages, but information and updates will continue to be added on a daily or weekly basis. We hope that you will take a little time out of your day to visit our website and to pass our link along to your family, friends and neighbors.

Thanks for contacting us. We appreciate your support.

Sincerely,

Save Magnolia Website Team

I received the following e-mail this evening. I thought it might be of interest to you and am therefore forwarding it to you for your entertainment or disgust. In an effort to find out who sent it and/or who is behind it I also received a response which I will forward following this one. I was personally outraged that someone would try to undermine the efforts of the City Council to make Magnolia a better place. I am sending it only to those for whom I have personal e-mail addresses as I do not want to send it to the City address since it is under such scrutiny. If I am out of line sending this to you I apologize in advance.

Until…

Jo Ann
