A man paroled for murder has been reported missing, according to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.
David McIntyre, 41, of Magnolia, who was released from the Texas Department of Corrections in Nov. 2008, was last seen on Dec. 11 at his home on Hardin Store Road in Magnolia wearing a black windbreaker, black wind pants and possibly carrying a black duffel bag with brown trim. He suffers from bipolar disorder, manic depression, and schizophrenia and does not have his medication. Empty prescription medicine bottles were found in his home after he went missing. His mother, who believes he has been off his medication for 2-3 weeks, reported him missing after overhearing him on the phone saying “I have to get out of here tomorrow, I’m going to see my parole officer and they are either going to put me in jail or find some place for me.“ According to his parole officer, he is very paranoid, has extreme delusions, is agitated easily, does not like large groups of people or strangers and can be very violent. McIntyre is 6’8 and weighs 320 lbs. Officials stated the last time he disappeared he was located under the San Jacinto Bridge at Interstate 45. Authorities said to exercise extreme caution if you should come in contact with McIntyre. If located, please contact Detective Tom Gannucci at 936-760-5876 or after hours 936-760-5800.
