WHS junior Webster named 2010 Miss Teen Waller County

miss waller county Waller High School junior Tej Webster was recently crowned 2010 Miss Teen Waller County. Tej was awarded a $1,500 scholarship and will now advance to the Miss Teen Texas-World Pageant.   

 

Tej also participated in Miss Teen Texas prior to competing in 2010 Miss Teen Waller County. She won Miss State Ambassador in the Miss Teen Texas Pageant for promoting the pageant and for her successful recruiting efforts.

 

Other pageant winners from Waller High School included second runner-up Haley Powers, third runner-up Amanda Parmer, fourth runner-up Patricia Rodriguez and Miss Congeniality Brittany Moody.

Tej described preparing for the pageant as “a ton of excitement and fun.” Part of the pageant preparation involved maintaining academic grades, exercising regularly, participating in a make-up application clinic and picking out a dress. 

           

She hopes to attend The University of Texas Health Science Center and become a certified nurse midwife. The 2010 Miss Teen Waller County Pageant awarded scholarships to the top three winners and gift cards to the remaining pageant winners.  The Waller Area Chamber of Commerce sponsored the second annual event that was held at the Waller High School Auditorium.
