Fire on Rosehill Christian School property

Firefighters with the Rosehill Volunteer Fire Department responded to a fire call early Thursday morning at the Rosehill Christian School located at 19830 FM 2920. The fire department was called to put out a fire that was burning a backhoe. The equipment is owned by MAS Construction and was being used to clear land in preparation for a planned expansions of the Rosehill Christian School campus. The backhoe was destroyed in the fire. There were no injuries. Pictured, Rosehill VFD fire fighters spray water on the backhoe in an attempt to extinguish the fire.
