TISD names new high school principals

Carol Houston has been named principal of Tomball Memorial High School, Tomball ISD’s second high school, scheduled to open in the fall of 2011. Houston began her career in education in 1989 as a teacher in Aldine ISD. In 1998, she was hired at Tomball High School as an assistant principal and later became the associate principal for curriculum and instruction.  Houston received both her bachelor’s degree and her master’s of education in administration from Sam Houston State University.

In addition to Houston’s appointment, Greg Quinn has been named as the next principal of Tomball High School. Quinn was hired as a teacher and coach at Tomball High School 11 years ago. He currently serves as an assistant principal and will assume his new position following the retirement of current principal Gary Moss this summer. Quinn began his education career in 1993. He worked in Conroe ISD and Aldine ISD before being hired at Tomball High School.  Quinn received his bachelor’s degree at Texas A&M University and his master’s in educational administration at Prairie View A&M University.
