Tomball celebrates Memorial Tree dedication

On Sunday, April 25 the City of Tomball held a dedication ceremony for the 20 live oak memorial trees planted at the Historic Downtown Depot. The trees were purchased by members of the Tomball community and typically dedicated to loved ones. The memorial tree project is the city’s latest effort in a downtown redevelopment project. Pictured, Greater Tomball Area Chamber of Commerce President Bruce Hillegeist, along with his mother, Arleah, water an oak tree they purchased in honor of Bruce’s father, Roy.
