NAM kicks off annual Back to School drive

Northwest Assistance Ministries (NAM) kicked off its annual Back to School drive this month. The goal is to raise $72,500 to provide school supplies, clothing and shoes for 2,500 children. Last year’s project helped nearly 3,000 children.

“Students cannot be expected to learn without the necessary school supplies,” Carole Little, NAM President and CEO, said. “Kids also feel better about themselves and have more confidence when they can go to school in clothes and shoes that fit well.”

A gift of $20 will provide school supplies for one child. A gift of $35 will provide clothing for one child. A gift of $55 will provide school supplies, clothing and shoes for one child. To make a cash donation to NAM’s Back to School drive, go to www.namonline.org, select “Special Projects,” and then choose “Virtual Back to School Drive.”
