| NAM kicks off annual Back to School drive |
|
Northwest Assistance Ministries (NAM) kicked off its annual Back to School drive this month. The goal is to raise $72,500 to provide school supplies, clothing and shoes for 2,500 children. Last year’s project helped nearly 3,000 children. “Students cannot be expected to learn without the necessary school supplies,” Carole Little, NAM President and CEO, said. “Kids also feel better about themselves and have more confidence when they can go to school in clothes and shoes that fit well.”
