Magnolia High School’s Lindsey Anderson graduated as Valedictorian of her senior class May 29. Anderson will attend the University of Texas at Austin in the fall where she plans to major in pre-med and chemistry. She received scholarships from the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, South Texas PGA Dick Harmon Scholarship, Knights of Columbus, The Lake Conroe Rotary Club and State Farm Student/Athlete. Her goal for the future is to become a pediatric surgeon.

Magnolia High School’s Shannon Jacobson graduated as Salutatorian of her senior class May 29. Jacobson will attend the University of Texas at Austin in the fall and plans to major in communications. She received a DeWitt Ray scholarship. Her goal for the future is to work in the field of journalism.

Magnolia West High School

Magnolia West High School’s Ashley Joiner graduated as Valedictorian of her senior class May 29. Joiner will attend Texas A&M University in the fall and plans to major in education. She received a State Farm Scholar Athlete scholarship. Her goals for the future are to “live my life in a way that brings glory to God, but I would like to get married and have a family and find success in doing things I enjoy.”

Magnolia West High School’s Emma Clifford graduated as Salutatorian of her senior class May 29. Clifford will attend Concordia University in the fall and plans to major in education and play college volleyball. She received a Lutheran Servant Leadership Scholarship and Church Worker Scholarship. Her goals for the future are “to do mission work because I want to make a tangible difference in people’s lives. I also would like to go parasailing and skydiving.”
