Bunny Run assists TOMAGWA, TEAM

With the proceeds from the Second Annual Tomball Bunny Run, Mayor Gretchen Fagan and EMERUS 24-Hour Emergency Room presented both TOMAGWA HealthCare Ministries and Tomball Emergency Assistance Ministries (TEAM) with a donation check.

“The City Council and I are honored to be able to aide such caring organizations,” Fagan stated.  “The care they provide to the residents of Tomball and the surrounding area is remarkable. We hope to have the opportunity to work closely with both groups in the future.”

In January, EMERUS 24-Hour Emergency Room asked to be the naming sponsor for the City’s Second Annual Bunny Run.  EMERUS, looking for ways to give back to their community, asked that a portion of the proceeds be set aside for TOMAGWA and TEAM.  Additional sponsors of the event included Tomball Ford, Dodge, Chrysler and Jeep and Hampton Inn and Suites – Tomball.  The race, which was held on April 10, brought around 300 runners to the Tomball area.

“EMERUS 24-Hour Emergency Room is grateful for this opportunity to give back to our community” said Dr. Dan Middlebrook. “The Bunny Run was a wonderful event and we are thrilled to be able to present the proceeds to TOMAGWA and TEAM. We look forward to doing similar things in the future.”
