Former Tomball City Manager receives Lifetime Achievement Award

Former Tomball City Manager Don Taylor recently received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Texas City Management Association (TCMA) during the association’s annual conference held at the Moody Gardens Hotel in Galveston.

Taylor served as Tomball City Manager from 1985 to 1991 and has worked as City Manager for the City of Schertz for the past five years. According a published report in “Schertz Tales,” Taylor has had a 40-plus year career, serving in 10 cities. Currently, Taylor is helps manage a $52 million operating budget in the City of Schertz.
