| Summer fundraiser for E.C.H.O. Foundation set for this weekend |
|
The E.C.H.O. Foundation benefiting Tomball Regional Medical Center wants to remind the local community about “Country on a Tin Roof,” a special concert featuring American country music artist Sammy Kershaw. The concert will take place at Tin Hall, one of “Texas' Oldest Reception Halls” on Saturday, July 17. At press time last week, the E.C.H.O. Foundation reported more than 250 have signed up to attend. The fun-filled evening begins at 7 p.m. and will end at midnight. To kick things off, The E.C.H.O. Foundation is holding a barbeque dinner catered by the Hickory Barn while a silent auction is held featuring an assortment of items. Among the items will be autographed guitars from Sammy Kershaw, a Bernhardt Winery Basket, an autographed Pete Rose picture, dinner and movie packages, golf packages and more. “We are delighted to have Sammy Kershaw perform for us at one of our summer fund raisers,” said Marilyn Kinyo, Director of the E.C.H.O. Foundation. We are very grateful to our underwriter Dr. and Mrs. Glen Blaschke. Without their generous donation, time and effort this evening would not be possible.” Tickets for the event are $25 per person, which includes dinner and a 90-minute concert by Kershaw. Tickets can be purchased online at www.tomballhospital.org/echoFoundation_events.html, by calling the E.C.H.O. Foundation at 281-401-7928, or at the door. Tin Hall is located at 14800 Tin Hall Road in Cypress.
