Salem Ministries’ High School Student Ministry, DEFY, recently partnered with Streetscape Ministries in Galveston to offer assistance in feeding and offering clothes to the homeless. In addition to running the clothing distribution line, the students of DEFY prayed over any of the willing attendees. The high school youth also worked for a day and a half doing construction work for Streetscape’s facilities that minister to, feed and house the homeless in the Galveston area. Salem Student Ministry schedules several mission trips per year as well as social events, Bible studies, weekday worship and Sunday morning studies and worship especially for junior and senior high students.
