AAR Pet of the Week

cats Sugar (left) and Baby’s (right) caretaker formerly lived in an assisted living community and recently passed away. The two could be considered “therapy cats” after visiting many of the residents at the assisted living facility. Sugar and Baby love long conversations and spending time with people. They are mellow, laid back, cool cats that get along with everyone. They are brother and sister and have been with each other their entire lives. Abandoned Animal Rescue is hoping the two can be adopted together. If not, they would likely need attention or another cat they could pal around with. AAR explained that even though the cats may be in advanced age, man cats can live a fairly long time, so Sugar and Baby still have a lot of life left in them. Sugar and Baby can be seen at Abandoned Animal Rescue, a no-kill shelter located at 419 East Hufsmith in Tomball.
