'Largest Grill' comes to Tomball |
|
On Sept. 29, the Johnsonville Big Taste Grill, the world’s largest touring grill, made a stop at the Tomball HEB as part of its national tour to raise money for the March of Dimes. The grill stretches 65 feet long, the length of a semi-truck trailer and weighs 53,000 pounds. It holds 10 grills that can prepare up to 750 brats at a time. During the visit, HEB customers had the opportunity to purchase Johnsonville Brats fresh off the grill, with proceeds benefiting the March of Dimes. Since its introduction in 2005, the Big Taste Grill has helped raise more than $3 million for charitable groups and organizations throughout North America. Pictured, Dale Romans, one of the truck’s drivers and cooks, cooks brats on the grill for HEB customers.
