Rotary Club names winner of MHS-MWHS T-shirt contest

rotary award As part of the Second Annual Magnolia Bowl pitting Magnolia High School against Magnolia West High School, the Magnolia Rotary Club sponsored a T-shirt design contest for Magnolia ISD high school students. More than 75 entries were submitted and judged. Jasmine Castle, an Art I student at Magnolia West High School, won the contest for her “One Town - Two Teams” design. Castle was given a check for $100 for her winning design.

 

In addition, the Rotary Club presented her teacher, Allison Daniel, with a check for $250 for the Magnolia West Art Department. Daniel said that "Jasmine has a great passion for art and works hard at everything she does. She is very deserving of this accomplishment and the Art Department at West is very proud of her."
