Rocky is a 3-year-old male Dachshund. His family all had busy lives and knew he deserved a better one too, and brought him to Abandoned Animal Rescue. Rocky wants someone to pay attention to him, give him hugs and maybe take him for walks sometimes. When Rocky is in his cage, he loves when AAR volunteers give him one-on-one contact and talk to him like he is the only one in the room. He is a friendly, lovable fellow who is happy all the time. Rocky is over the chewing stages and is house trained. He is good with kids and dogs, but hasn’t spent any time with cats. If you care about looks and not personality, then do not apply because Rocky has a long scar running down the left side of his back leg. When he was young, he was under the stove and something hot boiled over a pot and landed on his back. Rocky needs to be in the middle of the family fun and the life of the party.
