Sailor is an 8-month-old male Labrador mix.
He was found six months ago with his three siblings on the Trinity River. A nice family who was camping came upon them and was horrified at what they saw. The four dogs were hairless and skin and bones, but still alive. They were brought back and put into a foster home until their hair grew back from having mange. The other siblings have all been adopted and Sailor is still hoping for the day that his family will come. He is a stocky little guy, weighing about 45 pounds. Sailor is great with everyone he meets and enjoys the company of other dogs. He is inquisitive and always up for new adventures. Sailor would love for someone to take him for long walks or would enjoy a large fenced-in yard where he can run and play with dogs or kids. Sailor would make a great family member and he would give you loyalty and love.
