NIS students learn election process

Northpointe Intermediate School fifth graders Brittany Sam (right) and Phoebee Wolford (background) serve as poll workers as Eduardo Silva registered to vote during the school class officer election. Once students registered, they voted electronically for the candidate of their choice. The campus election process provided insight to democracy and the right to vote.
