SOS delivers Thanksgiving meals

Angel Padilla loads boxes of Thanksgiving meals into the bed of a pickup truck Nov. 15. Padilla volunteered to help Society of Samaritans in Magnolia distribute Thanksgiving meals to more than 400 local families in need. The meals were distributed last week in time for Thanksgiving. According to volunteer Gina Galloway, this year SOS was able to donate “triple the amount” they have in recent years thanks to the generosity of the local community.
