Abandoned Animal Rescue Pets of the Week |
|
Molly (right) is a 9-year-old Dalmation Heeler mix and Kirby (left) is a 7-year-old Collie Labrador mix. They are older dogs who were surrendered by their owner who loved them, but is ill and had to move out of state. She asked Abandoned Animal Rescue to find them a home together. Although AAR understood her wish, we couldn’t promise they could stay together because it is very hard to adopt two older dogs together. The first time AAR volunteers tried to separate them into separate kennel runs, they cried until they were reunited. AAR is reaching out to the community to try and find someone who can give them a loving home together. Molly and Kirby are well-behaved, housebroken and full of love. They have been seen by a vet and Molly has a few Lipoma benign lumps on her neck, but that is nothing to worry about. They have also had dental cleaning and are ready for some love and affection. If they don't find a home together in a few weeks AAR will put them up for adoption separately. For more information about Molly and Kirby, call Abandoned Animal Rescue at 281-290-0121, visit aartomball.org or e-mail
