McCoy named 2010 Academic All-District

Chris McCoy, a 2007 graduate of Tomball High School, was recently named 2010 CoSIDA/ESPN Academic All-District at South Carolina Upstate University for the Spartan soccer team. McCoy’s selection was the first time in the school’s Division 1 era and first since 2004 that a player from the men’s soccer program has had a player selected to the team. McCoy, a biology/pre-med major, owns a 3.93 GPA and has had four semesters with a 4.0 GPA during his time at Upstate.
