Encore Resale promotes education |

Director of the Miss Woodlands and Miss Texas Pageants, Tina Fox, has recently transformed her Sassy Closet consignment store into Encore Resale where all profits go toward scholarships for the winners of the Miss Woodlands, Miss Texas and soon Miss Magnolia Pageants. This fall, Sassy Closet began as non-profit organization. Scholarships for pageant winners normally range between $250 to $500, but with the revenue earned from Encore Resale, Fox anticipates the scholarships to increase substantially. Pictured, Fox stands beside the “Wall of Fame” in the store which includes pictures of previous pageant winners. Encore is accepting donations and is located on FM 1488 east of Old Conroe Road.
