'The Dream' visits THS

Former Houston Rocket and NBA Hall of Famer Hakeem Olajuwon visited Tomball High School Thursday, Jan. 6 where he spoke to more than 3,000 students and played a one-on-one pickup game with junior Ian Bates. Olajuwon delivered a message of inspiration and talked about his journey from his homeland of Nigeria to achieving success in the NBA. He stressed the importance of setting goals, being responsible, exploring individual talents and remaining focused on education.
