Lynn LeBouef, president/chief executive officer of Tomball Regional Hospital has been elected to the Texas Hospital Association’s (THA) 2011 Board of Trustees. He took office Jan. 1 and will serve a two-year term.               

LeBouef joined Tomball Regional Hospital in 1978 and was named president/CEO in 2005. He was a member of THA’s Council on Policy Development and currently serves as a member of the board of directors of the Healthcare Coalition of Texas as well as the Texas Purchasing Coalition. He also serves as a member of the board of directors for Lone Star College Foundation, TOMAGWA, Emergency Services District No. 11, the Northwest Chapter of the American Heart Association and is a member of the Chancellor’s Advisory Committee for the Lone Star College System.

He earned a bachelor’s degree in respiratory care from St. Mary’s Dominican College in New Orleans. He is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives. LeBouef was named 2007 Volunteer of the Year for the American Heart Association, Northwest Division and, in 1996 he was named National Management Specialty Section Practitioner of the Year for the American Association for Respiratory Care.
