Tomball celebrated grand re-opening of MLK Park |
|
On Jan. 15, the City of Tomball celebrated the grand re-opening of Martin Luther King Jr. Park. The park has recently undergone a significant upgrade, which included new playground facilities and improved bathrooms. Taking part in the celebration were Tomball Mayor Gretchen Fagan, members of city council and staff and representatives from Tomball HEB, which donated $5,000 to the project. Also donating to the renovation were the Tomball Business Association, the Tomball EDC, the Tomball Rotary Club, the Tomball Hotel/Motel Association, Farmers Insurance, Fagan and all five members of the Tomball city council.
