AAR Pet of the Week

duffy Duffy is a 10-month-old female Lab Heeler mix. Her mother was homeless and gave birth to Duffy and two other siblings under someone’s mobile home. An Abandoned Animal Rescue volunteer was able to crawl under the home and rescue them through glass and sharp metal. They were adopted three months later. However, six months later, Duffy was brought back to AAR. She appears fearful of some people. Duffy needs to know that she can trust you and you will be a constant in her life. She would love to be the center of attention and have a family whose children are already grown or don’t plan on having children so she could be the child. She is not a hyper dog, but likes to run outside and play. She is good with other dogs, but it’s not clear how she handles cats. Once Duffy knows she can count on you she will be your loyal friend and protector to the end. For more information about Duffy, call Abandoned Animal Rescue at 281-290-0121, visit aartomball.org or e-mail This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
