Abandoned Animal Rescue Pet of the Week |
|
Fritz is a 1 ½-year-old male terrier. He was wandering through a neighborhood several days hoping to be rescued, because he is unable to fend for himself. He is a special needs dog who only has 3 working paws and cannot put much weight on his front right paw. It has been x-rayed at the veterinary clinic and looks to be a birth defect or result of trauma at a younger age and the paw healed back incorrectly. Fritz has had two veterinarian’s opinions and they both say they would not operate on his paw. Therefore, he is ready to find a new loving family. He is a friendly, sweet, loving guy who is good with other dogs. He is laid back and mellow probably because of his paw which makes him unable move very quickly. Fritz needs to be an inside dog with a family who does not have much clutter in their house so it will be easier for him to move around. He is crate trained, enjoys attention and would love to find a new best friend. For more information about Fritz, call Abandoned Animal Rescue at 281-290-0121, visit aartomball.org or e-mail
