Abandoned Animal Rescue Pet of the Week |
|
Little Girl (left) and Jollipop (right) are 6-month-old Labrador mixes. They were found as puppies in Jasper at an oil rig. They were in bad shape and the man who found them knew they needed help or would surely die. He took them in and nursed them back to health. They stayed with him for a few months until he could find a safe place for them to go. Little Girl and Jollipop are both happy, outgoing youngsters who love attention. Jollipop is the bigger one who likes to eat everyone’s food, but sometimes that’s what happens when you’re a stray and were hungry. Little Girl is the submissive one and will follow her brother around. She is a sweet girl who is smart and not on the hyper side. They do listen to the sound of your voice to know they are doing something wrong. They also know how to sit. When they were at their foster home they were crate and potty trained. They don’t need to be adopted together, they just need a family who will treat them with love, respect and like part of the family.
