Criminal justice building dedicated to Constable Hill

constable hill The criminal justice building located on Nichols Sawmill was dedicated to Constable David Hill on March 17. The 15,000-square-foot facility was completed in September and houses Pct. 5 Justice of the Peace Matt Masden, the Pct. 5 Constable’s office, a District 4 Sheriff substation, a Department of Public Safety substation and a tax office. Montgomery County Pct. 2 Commissioner Craig Doyal said employees and constables of Hill approached him with the idea to name the building after Hill. Doyal said Hill is currently the longest office holding elected official in Montgomery County serving more than 40 years.
