AAR Pet of the Week

sadie Sadie is an 11-month-old female Border Collie mix. At 6 months old she had no place to go. She was skin and bones and nearly starving to death when she was rescued off the streets. The person who took Sadie in nursed her back to health and wanted to keep her, but the owner’s other dog and Sadie did not get along too well. So Sadie was brought to Abandoned Animal Rescue. She is going to need a special person who she can trust to bring her out of her shyness. Her former owner taught her how to sit, shake, lay down and roll over. Sadie is an affectionate, sweet, loving girl who is on the mellow side. She weighs about 40 pounds, is potty trained, walks on a leash and is good with kids. Sadie gets along well with large male dogs, but they have not tried her with female dogs. On Sat, April 2 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., AAR is hosting an Adoption Fair featuring large animals outside for viewing, fun and informative events including a dog behaviorist, ice cream, drinks, cookies and a “Flea-less Flea Market.” For more information about Sadie, call Abandoned Animal Rescue at 281-290-0121, visit aartomball.org or e-mail aarescue03@yahoo.comThis e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
