Mika is a 1-year-old female Australian Shepherd mix. Her story is not tragic because she was well cared for and loved. Mika’s problem is she has a lot of energy and her owners had a small yard. So it was not fair to her to be stuck in a small place and not be able to run and play fetch, which she loves to do. She is sweet, affectionate and loves attention. She is the kind of girl who needs exercise or some kind of stimulation. Mika is very eager to learn and she learns things quickly. She is good with other dogs and kids, though she is hyper so she might knock them down, not meaning to. She is also potty and crate trained. Mika needs an active family, or a family who likes to go for walks and she definitely needs a big back yard.
