MHS relay team takes third in Texas Relays

Magnolia High School seniors Bryttin Boyde and Emily Hill, along with sophomore Jordan Bishoff and freshman Suzy Carrigan-Smith, placed third at the 2011 Texas Relays held at the University of Texas in Austin. The team, which is currently ranked 64th in the nation, fought down to the final step, as Bishoff edged another competitor at the line to secure the bronze medal. The students, along with other varsity girls and boys competed April 12 and 13 at Stratford High School in the 17-4A district track meet. Pictured, (left to right) are Hill, Carrigan-Smith, Boyde and Bishoff.
