GTACC names Officer of the Month

The Greater Tomball Area Chamber of Commerce honored Tomball Police Officer Juan Barrera (center) as Officer of the Month at its monthly luncheon held May 6. Barrera worked as a detention officer in Harris County prior to joining the Tomball Police Department. Police Chief Rob Hauck (left) said Barrera “brought a lot of information” from the previous job. In March Barrera helped solve the Goodwill burglaries in the area through his targeted patrol efforts. Also pictured is Woodforest National Bank representative Maria Espitia (right).
