City of Magnolia swears in new council members |
|
The Magnolia City Council held its regular meeting May 17 during which new council members were sworn in. Anne Sundquist will hold Position 1, Chris Schod will hold Position 2 and Jeff Chumley will hold Position 3. All three positions were unopposed, which cancelled the election for May 14. Schod will begin his second term; Sundquist and Chumley are serving for the first time on city council. John Bramlett and Sammie Scott previously held Positions 1 and 3 respectively and did not seek re-election.
